I feel like i'm doing nothing. Mostly, I haven't been. Sleep is on the upswing, and I don't feel like I can agggravate people quite daily. I did come down to the dining room a few times, did some minor paperwork, and crawled back upstairs again. Had doc appts for hive shot and paindoc also, in there.

I got a call from the life insurance people on the 15th that they'd received the packet I'd sent them, and that they'd have an answer from their internal processing in 1-3 days. One of those days was President's day, so I gave them that entire week to get their ducks lined up. Attended a wonderful party on Saturday night the 24th. Sunday I was asleep for over 12 hours when I was woken for dinner and suddenly realized people were waiting for me in wow. Monday I slept again. Tuesday my head started to feel socked in, and I'm full on in the throes of a cold now. I came downstairs to pay the bills this morning when I couldn't sleep. Paid one on the phone, cause it is due tomorrow. Rest are in envelopes.

Called life insurance people. My person is 'out of the office' for this week. So I called the generic line. They apparently have to confirm MORE bullshit, among them his last day of work, and other such shit, and *then* once they *have everything* it will be 1-3 days. Fucking fuck.

On the plus side, supposedly I have the cobra packet coming by mail this week. The HR person sent me a copy by email. I tried to read it, got 3 pages in, and am giving up.

On the gripping hand, we're down to $300 or so in the bank. I have a couple of checks to put in the account, but that's it.
