So the good part about being in a hospital in the 21st century is wifi.

So Tuesday started with me throwing up about an hour after I took my morning meds. I felt shitty the rest of the day, and didnt' eat anything. In the afternoon my temp was up to 102, so R dragged me in to Urgent Care associated with the pile of doctors in a few buildings clumped together that I refer to as Doctorville. Most of my unwillingness was just in dealing with just moving (unusual sharp pains in the groin joint of my hips), down two flights of stairs and then in the car to go 20 minutes (assuming no traffic) with a tummy still scared of nausea.

There they discovered a BRIGHT RED PATCH on my undertummy (the part I can't see cause of the edema flowing over) and 20k white blood cell count. So now I'm in the hospital with IV antibiotics. If the infection behaves well, I'll be out by Friday, and will be able to attend the interment of Otter's ashes, along with the small pile of family and more friends coming in from out of state.

If I'm not discharged by Friday, I'll think about doing the 'against medical advice' thing of walking out, and then coming back in. Which one of my overseers said was a REALLY BAD IDEA NO DON'T DO THAT I NEVER REMINDED YOU ABOUT THIS POSSIBILITY NOPE.
