Yesterday, I:
Apr. 12th, 2018 09:48 pmForgot to post this, so you get it today.
Then I went out to a gaming night at a very interesting bar. It, apparently, was the first one they're trying to have, and while there was a large pile of games, there were only 5 people there when I got there, one of whom was demoing his new game, Dungeon Alliance. It maxes at 4 players, so I got to sit and watch for a bit, till one person left and I took over. It's very complex, and I expect it's less confusing once you actually know the game. I found that one aspect I liked is that the gentleman giving the demo, Andy Parks, was doing so in the way of a game master running an RPG. I splurged and bought a copy anyway, which was cool cause he was giving out the 'kickstarter expansion' for free for those of us there. They're apparently out of stock of their first print run in their warehouse, tho various online vendors still have them.
Today, I slept obnoxiously late, being very achy and feeling bleah. R had started feeling unwell last night, and is running a low grade fever, tho not enough to go to the doctor with. We're ordering in chinese, and it's coming late because I wasn't paying sufficient attention to time. I'm posting this while waiting.
Talk to R about:
- blargh
- Slept most of the night in the chair at my computer, finally woke around 7am and took my morning meds minus food and minus the pill I need to have food with.
- Woke up around 11:30, blearily, and dragged myself downstairs to get some food in time for potential roofer to show up to give estimate.
- C got me grilled cheese, adn tomato soup, and I finished just in time for roofer to show up.
- Sent R off to do errands and marketing.
- Filled out cobra form per instructions from someone yesterday, took photo with phone as "scan", and emailed everything off. Hopefully this will take care of cobra.
- Reconciled checkbook and bank account
- Looked at budget again, and realized I forgot to account for annual taxes. FML.
- Paid a couple of bills from the current account, and left things set up to pay May's bills out of the new bill paying account.
